BRIEF PROFILE
Dr. Mahesh Kumar is a dedicated mathematician currently serving as a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at the Central University of Jharkhand since September 27, 2024. Prior to this role, he contributed his expertise as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at CIT, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Dr. Kumar's academic journey includes completing his M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from BBAU (a Central University) in Lucknow, a B.Ed. in Science (Mathematics) from Sahyogi R. B. Degree College in Khushhalpur, Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi. His research interests include differential equations, applied mathematics, general relativity, astrophysics, and astronomy. Through his work, he aims to advance mathematical models to verify compact stars by employing various approaches to solving Einstein's field equations.
