Brief Profile

Dr. Shashank Dattatray Kulkarni holds the permanent position of Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi. He had experience as a Guest Faculty at Central University of Jammu and an Academic Counsellor at IGNOU, where he taught Public Administration to postgraduate students. Dr. Kulkarni, a founding doctoral scholar, obtained a PhD from the Department of Public Policy and Public Administration at the Central University of Jammu. He developed 'Policy Ecocide', an innovative public policy concept. He successfully cleared the NET and JRF in public administration. His expertise in writing, poetry, and agricultural policy is highly regarded on a global scale. His scholarly contributions and written works have garnered him numerous national and international honours. Dr. Kulkarni, an Agricultural Policy Scientist, had the privilege to work with Bharatratna Prof. M. S. Swaminathan, the father of Indian Green Revolution. Dr. Kulkarni's renowned research-oriented book, 'Swaminathan Commission: A Foundation of Farmers' Policies in India', was forwarded by Prof. Swaminathan. He has authored Eleven socio-political books and has had numerous research papers published in prestigious academic journals. He specializes in Public Administration, Public Policy, Agriculture Policy, Farmer Policy, Rural Administration, and Rural Local Self Government.
