Brief Profile

Dr. Bhaskar Singh is an Associate Professor at Central University of Jharkhand, India, where he teaches undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in the thrust areas of Environmental Sciences at the Department of Environmental Sciences. Dr. Bhaskar Singh received his Ph.D. from the reputed Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) India in 2010. Bhaskar Singh also holds an M. Phil. from Pondicherry University, India, with a Gold Medal (2006). Dr. Singh works on various aspects of biofuel development for its commercial applications, pollution monitoring & remediation, and addressing other contemporary environmental issues. He has featured thrice in the list of world’s top 2% scientists as per Stanford-Elsevier report published in 2021, 2022 & 2023. He has published more than 95 research papers, review papers and book chapters in peer-reviewed and high-impact international journals and reputed books with an h-index of 38, i10-index of 65 and over 8,300 citations. He has co-authored a book and co-edited 6 book with renowned publisher like Elsevier, Springer & CRC Press. He has been granted an Indian patent for developing a method for the improving the fuel properties of biodiesel.
