Brief Profile

Dr. Parashar has a total experience spanning over two decades. His earlier experience was in the areas of banking, mutual funds, derivatives, capital markets. For the last 15 years, he has been working as an academician. His research interest lies in the area of Capital Markets. Along with several certifications in financial markets, he has cleared SET (Management) and UGC-NET (Commerce). Before joining DCFS at CUJ in October 2019, he worked with Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Nagpur. Dr. Parashar started his academic journey with Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies & Research, Nagpur in January 2009. Here he taught FM courses and trained Industry Professionals in the area of Fixed Income. Later he was appointed as a member of the Central Steering Committee and a member of the NAAC-SSR Drafting Committee of the institution. In September 2006, hejoined Arya Chanakya Investment Services Pvt. Ltd. Here, he worked as ‘Head – Investments’, designing portfolio strategies involving Mutual Funds, Equities, Derivatives and Fixed Income. SBI Funds Management Pvt. Ltd. marked the beginning of his corporate career on 12thJanuary 2004. Here he engaged with SBI branches across Vidarbha. He also worked closely with National Level Banks, National Distributors and IFAs.
