Brief Profile

Dr. K. B. Singh has 19 years of teaching and corporate experience. He is Ph.D. in Finance and M.Com & MBA (Fin). Earlier he worked in the Department of Management at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (Noida Campus), Centre for Management Development, Modinagar and IBM-Daksh, Gurgoan. He had served as Colombo Plan Professor to Royal University of Bhutan (on deputation through Ministry of Ext. Affairs, Govt of India) during 2016 to 2018. He was visiting faculty to many institutions such as – Sh. Sukhdev Singh College of Business Studies (DU), CMS – Jamia University, FORE School of Management and AIMA. New Delhi. Dr. Singh has published 32 research papers and book chapters on various areas of Finance in Scopus/ABDC/ UGC-CARE listed journals. He has presented 23 papers in various conferences organized by FMS, IIM, IIT, BHU etc. He has published books titled ‘Economic Policy and Planning in India Post Covid-19’ (Bloomsbury, UK), Indian Economy 2020: Current Issues & Future Prospects (Navyug Books International), Infrastructure Finance (Navyug Books International) and Indian Economy: Reforms and Revival (Avon Publishing House, Delhi). He has expertise in Corporate Finance, Investment Management, Financial Derivatives, and Capital Markets. He has been an expert in various MDPs on Finance for non-finance, Financial Derivatives and Financial Modelling using Excel at different institutions in India. He is a member of University’s Academic Council, Department Board of Studies and Department Research Committee.
