Brief introduction:  

Er. Kiran Jalem is a Disaster Management Professional having 12 years of experience, which includes Industrial, Scientific, Research, Engineering, Teaching & Training etc. prior to joining CUJ as an Assistant Professor in 2012. As an Assistant Professor with Shri Krishna Institute of Public Administration (SKIPA), Ranchi, Govt. of Jharkhand under the Non Plan Scheme of Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, he had conducted several Training Programs on Disaster Management at SKIPA, Ranchi in collaboration with NIDM, NDMA, MHA, Govt. of India and Govt. of Jharkhand. Also, worked abroad for a year in Gulf, Middle East, Dubai, UAE in Oil Sector. 
Er. Kiran Jalem is a Trainer on Disaster Management, Trainer on Gender Issues & Gender Budgeting and a Certified Trainer on Direct Trainer Skills (DTS) and Design of Training (DoT) by DoPT, Govt. of India & Thames University, London.

Er. Kiran Jalem Successfully Completed many Short Course Trainings, Advanced Certificate Courses & DST Sponsored Training Courses etc. during his career.

  2. Organized Field Tour for 14 M.Sc. Geoinformatics Students to Visakhapatnam for 8 Days from 22.12.2014 to 29.12.2014 as a part of their academic course curriculum activity to various places in and around Visakhpatnam (IMD Centre in Andhra University Campus, Doppler Radar Visit on Eastern Ghat Hill-Kailasa Giri, Bhimili Red Land Hills, Araku Valley, Light House on Dolphin Hill, Visit to Naval Dockyard-Submarine Cruise etc. and to study the post Hudhud Cyclone impact on north coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh.

    2. As a Faculty In Charge of Badminton & Table Tennis Sports in CUJ, ensured 25 CUJ Sports Personnel participation in National Annual Sports Fest ‘Parakram 2016’ at Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad held from 12 to 14 February 2016 and bagged Silver and Bronze Medals for CUJ
    3. As a Faculty In Charge accompanied 50 CUJ Students to Participate in Spring Fest 2015 held in IIT Kharagpur from 23rd to 26th January 2015
