Brief Introduction   Mr Anirban Debsarma joined as an Assistant Professor of Performing Arts, at the Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi, in April 2021. He is an MPA in Theatre Arts from the Central University of Hyderabad. He has worked as an Actor-Facilitator and Assistant Director with Jana Sanskriti Centre for the Theatre of the Oppressed and supervised its satellite theatre teams and training programmes. He is also a visiting faculty in the Department of Performing Arts at Ranchi University. As a playwright he adapted Henrik Ibsen’s “A Doll’s House” into “Khelar Ghar” and also transliterated Sophocles’ “Antigone” into Bengali.
