Area of Interest   Research in Indian Music, Writing on socio-musicological issues, Performance Studies etc.
Courses Taught   MPA – Folk/Tribal Music of Jharkhand, Comparative and Analytical Study of Ragas and Talas, Music Theory.

Ph.D. Course Work – Problems and Issues related to Research Methodology, Computer Application for Research, Research and Publication Ethics (Publication Misconduct, Open Access Publishing, Databases and Research Metrics).
Brief Introduction   Before joining the Department in the year 2021, I did my Ph.D. research from Visva-Bharti, Santiniketan. Before that, I qualified the UGC NET in Music in 2014 and got Junior Research Fellowship. I completed my graduation from University of Calcutta and I was the topper of the university. I am a regular performing artist of All India Radio.
