Research activities :

Block copolymer and their supramolecular assembly based different strategies for preparation of functional nanostructured materials having wide range of potential applications. Some of the strategies include

  1. Bio-inspired block copolymer and their supramolecular assembly for nanofabrication and biosensing applications
  2. Fabrication of Ultrahigh density arrays of magnetic nanomaterials
  3. Fabrication of nanoporous membrane for waste water purification
  4. Fabrication of reproducible surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) active substrates
  5. Fabrication of photovoltaic devices with structure close to ideal solar cell
  6. Fabrication for nanostructured materials for optical, electronic and optoelectronic electronic applications like LED, FET etc.

Macromolecules and their hybrid materials for optoelectronic applications
Another important area of research focuses on synthesis of conjugated block copolymers and their hybrid materials with controlled and well defined optical and electronic properties for different electronic and optoelectronic device applications like photovoltaics, FET, LED etc
