Research Project  

Awarded U.G.C. Minor Research Project titled Feminist Concept: A Study of Nayantara Sahgal’s Fiction.The research project was completed and submitted to U.G.C. in the year 2002.

  • Joined Jagannathnagar College as a Lecturer in the Dept. of English on the first sanctioned post on 10.08.1972. Confirmed as Lecturer by Bihar University Service Commission on 18.12.1974. Promoted as Reader on 01.02.19985 on the recommendation of Bihar University Service Commission. Served J.N. College, Ranchi from 10.08.1972 to 20.08.1988 as Head, Dept. of English.
  • Senior Reader in the University Dept. of English, Ranchi University from 20.08.1998 to 31.01.2011.
  • University Professor & Head, Centre for English Language & Dean, School of Languages, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi from 19.03.2011 till date.
    • Teaching Experience   Thirty nine years
    Translation of Discussions in Special Session of Bihar Legislative Assembly and Council   Translated in English the discussions of Bihar Reorganization Bill (Regarding the Creation of Jharkhand) for Home Ministry, Govt. of India, during special session of Bihar Legislative Assembly and Council in the year 1998 at Patna.
